ALTHOUGH one could argue that accounts who only play by PLEX don't really count,
because the real money comes from others,
these people are still quite a necessity because they remove PLEX from the game
and help keep a balance on the market.
Saying that only bots require PLEX to play is wrong,
as there are people who can't afford the real money to play
and ACTUALLY, the economy requires people who play via PLEX,
simply to balance the market. (i'm repeating myself ^^)
Else ... the price would drop because of too many PLEX,
which surely would lead to people buying more PLEX ingame, yes,
and that would raise the PLEX price again, but sadly not that much anymore.
(talking about what happens if suddenly many many many PLEX-players leave)
A lower PLEX price makes the $/ISK ratio unattractive,
which leads to more people buying ISK from ebay
and less people buying PLEX for real money.
And hell ... it's really attractive right now ...
... right before the next expansion.
And that's working as intended. :)
(Hopefully i didn't leave anything substantial out right now.) |

They're a necessity because they're the ones who buy the PLEX from those who drop cash on timecodes, you see,
